"Protecting Your Well-Being" Functions of the Health Practitioners’ Board To protect the health and well-being of all residents of the Turks and Caicos Islands through:

• Registration of Health Practitioners (Physicians, Dentist, Veterinarians, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals (Medical Technologist, Pharmacists, Radiographers etc))

• Ensuring that all registered health practitioners are trained to an acceptable standard

• Ensuring that all registered Health Practitioners maintain their level of competence through continuing medical education

• Guidance on professional standards / ethical conduct 

• Disciplinary procedures against Health Practitioners as a result of complaints from the public
